It has recently been reported to me by the Chief Executive of Highways & Transport East that Station Road, Bordon will be closed as of 11 April 2011 most information is displayed below for further information please download or view the pdf at the bottom of the page
Temporary Road Closure:
STATION ROAD BORDON – eastbound carriageway only
Please arrange for a temporary road closure notice followed by an order to be advertised and made in accordance with the following details:-
Reason for closure: To allow South East Water to carry out water main replacement works.

Road to be closed: Eastbound only, Station Road between its junction with Camp Road (A325) and its junction with Loweswater Gardens. Westbound traffic unaffected.
Alternative routes: From western point of closure; south west via Station Road to its junction with Budds Lane; south east via Budds Lane to its junction with Camp Road (A325); north via Camp Road (A325) to its junction with Station Road and eastern point of closure.
Period of closure: From 11 April 2011 for a period of 5 days followed by 3 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. (*Notwithstanding the above it is expected that the eastbound closure will be required for no longer than 7 days).
I attach a copy of an A4 size map showing the location of the road to be closed and alternative route.
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
