On Sunday the 8th August the President and members of the Oakhanger Village Hall Committee entertained the senior residents of the village to a strawberry cream tea on the village green.
About 40 people drank Pimms in the sunshine before sitting down to a splendid tea. After tea, everyone was entertained by The Three Belles. Susie, Mel & Barbara, accompanied by pianist Tania, sang wartime songs and transported everone back to a nostalgic age, with songs including ‘We’ll Meet Again’ and ‘It’s a Long Way to Tipperary’
